Why We Give to The Church
In our Christian walk, we recognize all blessings are because of Jesus! Without His ultimate sacrifice to save us from the punishment of our sins, we would be living for only ourselves. But Jesus brings a new meaning to life! We give thanks to God for our blessings by giving a portion back to Him. Tithing in the church gives to God what was already His; the offering is then used to meet the needs of the church and the community it serves. It doesn’t pay for wants; it pays for the needs of the church body and the people of our community. Give when God has placed it on your heart!

The Cheerful Giver

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven
